Niveau Inter. Mercredi 5 Avril, 19h-20h30.

J-B. KANANGWE

The goal of this workshop is to use public speaking as a tool to improve your pronunciation, intonation, articulation, and flawlessness in a variety and style of speech (narrative, descriptive, argumentative, and explicative).  The workshop offers three sessions that are complementary, yet independent from one another.  Thus, students can take one session, two sessions, or all three sessions. During this first session, a work is assigned to each student according to his level and life interest which includes famous speech, fable, poem, and song. Students will then prepare and deliver their first speech. The professor evaluates each student individually, create a personalized phonetic portfolio, and provides pertinent exercises.

Level Beg-Inter. Thursday 6 Avril, 18h30-20h30.

Paris/Marseille : Deux poles extremes de l’Histoire de France, Samy AYARI

Paris became the cradle and the crucible of French History only in the early Middle-Ages. Marseilles on the other hand, a 2600 years old city, has always been the beacon of the “South” within the characteristics Nordic/Southern duality of France.
This workshop will concentrate on the historic contributions of these two fascinating cities through the lens of North/South opposition.
