Many Alliance Francaises in the U.S. have partnered with La Route des Langues, a premium APEX Education Group brand with 25+ years of experience in exclusive international language programs, sending more than 1,500 students worldwide every year!
The Host Family Program:
The program is designed for students usually aged 12-18, from late June to early August (other periods are possible). Host families are volunteers who open their house to a student as a new family member. They provide accommodation, food and involve the student in family activities and celebrations.
You share your culture while learning about another and practicing your French!
YOU decide WHO and WHEN you will be hosting. It's the perfect matchmaking program to ensure the best experience for you, your family, and the student who comes to live with you. If you are open to the world and curious about other cultures and languages, hosting an international student is an amazing opportunity to learn, share and give your family a global perspective.
