PRIVATE FRENCH LANGUAGE CLASSES
Private classes can be scheduled:
French Language Classes over Skype
If you live far from the Alliance Française de Los Angeles or have a busy schedule, French Language Class over Skype are the solution for you!
You’ll need:
- A webcam
- A headset
- Skype installed on your computer
In addition to the AFDELA’s general policies, students must send a confirmation email to their teacher following each French language lesson.
This email serves as proof that the class occurred.

- Books may be required depending on your objectives.
Policies
The following policies are applicable to private French language classes, in addition to our general policies.
Tuition and fees must be paid before lessons can begin.
Lesson confirmation : student must sign the form provided by their teacher at the end of each class to confirm the lesson.
Rescheduling a lesson : student must give 24 hours’ notice to the teacher. Late cancellations result in 1 hour deducted from your credit.
Children’s private lessons are available for ages 5 and older.
Semi-private classes : AFDELA does not currently match students. Students wishing to learn together may request semi-private classes. Students should have the same level (please submit placement tests to verify).
