DELF EXAM
The Alliance Française of LOS ANGELES is a passation center for the DELF certification.
The DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) is an official diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to assess and to certify foreign candidates’ proficiency in French. This diploma is valid for life and provide the candidate with a quality French-level certification, useful to carry out specific personal, academic or professional projects.
DELF test is the same worldwide. It is composed of 6 independent diplomas corresponding to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: DELF A1, DELF A2, DELF B1, DELF B2
The DELF B2 affords access to all French universities and to an ever-growing number of European and francophone universities, eliminating the need for pre- admission French language tests. Click HERE for a detailed tests description.

We can help you to get ready for the DELF Exam through private lessons with our trained and experienced teachers in order to review the procedures of each test and to reinforce the language skills required for these examinations.

Please note that the Alliance Française of Los Angeles is a passation center linked to the exam center of the Alliance Française of Pasadena.
Your registration will be handled by the office of Pasadena, but the test will take place at the Alliance Française of Los Angeles.

What is the DELF Junior?
DELF (Diplôme d’Etudes en Langue Française) is an official qualification awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the competency of candidates from outside France in the French language. These diplomas are valid for life. DELF is composed of four independent diplomas that correspond to the levels of the CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages).
Information below, pertains to the specially adapted version of the DELF diplomas for teenagers. As stated at programme-flam.fr, DELF Junior version is also open to all young French citizens who reside in any non-francophone country and who are schooled in local institutions.
