Amandine grew up in Perpignan, a French town near the Mediterranean sea. She holds a BA in linguistics from Université Paul Valery in Montpellier and a MA in teaching French as foreign language from Université Grenoble Alpes.
She started her teaching career in Sweden, in the French School of Gothenburg with young children. Loving the life of constant discovery that is the one of an expat, she then moved to Warwickshire in England where she gained experience teaching French to children, teenagers in the International Baccalaureate program at Warwickshire College and adults in the Warwick University Language Centre.
After six years in the UK, it was time for new adventures and a new culture. Amandine, moved to California, first in San Francisco followed by Los Angeles in 2013. Her classes at the Alliance Française are engaging and fun. She loves varying her classes according to what the students need and enjoy: French linguistics and phonetics but also popular culture, current affairs, art and literature.
