Marie Tassy

I am very passionate about French grammar and structure, not to mention literature and culture, and I have been able to pass on this enthusiasm to my students as well.

When I teach, I try to communicate clearly, patiently, and with belief in my students.  My goal is to always make learning both interesting and fun. I encourage my students in a supportive environment so they can learn and express themselves without fear or intimidation..

I was born and raised in France. I arrived in the United States in 2000 with my family and became a US citizen in 2010. Every year, I make it a point to visit France at least once. This allows me to stay connected not only to my family and friends but also to the wonderful French culture, aspects of which I am then able to share with my students.
