Raised in Versailles, Simone moved to Washington DC in 1984 and worked for the agricultural department of the UN as a translator and interpreter. She became a xenophile after travelling around the world and she finally moved to California in 2012.
Simone taught French privately and high school level from 1990 to today, from very beginners to high levels. She joined the Alliance Française de Los Angeles in June 2015. Passionate about people, travel, reading, cooking, dancing and music, she especially enjoys group singing.
