Jocelyne made her debut as a French teacher at Berlitz while she was a college student. She holds a Baccalauréat in Philosophy, a BA in French literature and a certification from the United Nations in interpretation and translation. She has worked at the Alliance for over 15 years in addition to teaching, substituting and tutoring in various private and public schools including Marlborough, Westwood Charter and the International french lycee or LILA. At the present Time she is teaching at the Alliance as well as in A secondary school. As a French teacher her approach is to teach the French language in a positive and interactive environment combining structure with increasing conversational skills while strengthening grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation. At the Alliance, She enjoys the warm and lively atmosphere as well as the many cultural activities it provides .She says its diverse clientele often makes her feel as though she is learning as much from students as they are learning from her often with a lot of laughter. Teaching at the Alliance has allowed her to keep a foothold in her native French culture, while having a family and raising two wonderful children.”
