Born on the left bank of Paris but raised in Montmartre, Guillaume studied U.S. History and international relations at the University of Paris-Sorbonne.
For twenty years, he worked as a journalist, covering society issues and French politics for several outlets (press and TV) before moving to the United States in 2006. Based in Los Angeles, he worked as a US correspondent, covering three presidential campaigns and managing the media agency he founded. During his journalistic career, Guillaume wrote five books on American politics and history, all published in France and French speaking countries.
He started a new and exciting chapter in his career by joining the Alliance Francaise de Los Angeles as the Executive Director in the summer 2017
